FAQs

Where are the items shipping from?

Currently our studio is in Sydney, Australia.

How long does shipping usually take?

Be sure to check the product page or the check-out page for the production time associated with your Goldie Paris item.

We are a small business, and we care about the environment, so our items are mostly made to order, which means if it is not indicated that the item is in stock, the production times will be 4-6 weeks. Then, shipping time to Australia is usually 3 days ( about 1-2 weeks if it is outside of Australia)

Once it’s ready, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email where you can find your tracking number so you can follow your order on its journey to you!

How does it work for international orders?

We consider an international order, an order placed outside of Australia

  • Prices and shipping fees for international orders do not include Import and Customs Duties, value-added taxes (VAT), tariffs, brokerage or other fees that the destination country may levy. Goldie Paris is not responsible for these fees or Customs-related delivery delays.
  • If the customer refuses delivery due to government-required costs from the destination country, the purchaser is responsible for the costs of returning the package to the sender.
  • The order recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws, regulations, and restrictions of the destination country.

    Are the diamonds real?

    Absolutely, yes, oui, 100% yes.

Our diamonds are real. They are just a little more conscious, less rare (because they are not mined), and made with less environmental damage and significant advantages for our planet.

    Will it tarnish?

Never. We only use solid gold, which is real gold—that means it's not plated or filled. It's real gold that will never tarnish, oxidise, or discolour. It's waterproof, so you can wear it all day, every day, for a long time and pass it on to new generations.

Can I wear my jewellery to the gym?

You can sweat in our collections, but we can't guarantee they won't break at the gym. That said, you can wear your pieces every day; just be mindful of the pressure you put on your ring or if the necklace can get caught somewhere and break. We can't be responsible for any damages that occur after the purchase.

What is a lab-grown diamond, and can you tell the difference from a mined diamond?

Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds. It is nearly impossible to tell the difference. They are chemically, physically, and optically identical to mined diamonds. Both diamonds are made from 100% carbon in a high-pressure and high-temperature environment. The only thing that makes a lab-made diamond different to mined is its origin. A good comparison is to think about water turning to ice in a freezer and an iceberg in the ocean; the product is the same, but the origin is very different. Natural Diamonds are mined and therefore more expensive and rare, vs. man-made diamonds are made and thus more affordable and ethically sourced ( we work with RJC members that are certified green energy)

Lab-grown diamonds are sustainable, ethical, and more affordable, and we like the sound of this!

Can you tell me more about your materials?

We use 9kt, 10kt, 14k, and 18k solid recycled gold and high-quality lab-grown diamonds to ensure each piece is conflict-free and ethical. Please read our promise here to learn more about our materials.

Do Goldie Paris Diamonds come with certifications?

The diamonds currently used in our jewellery are considered “melee” diamonds (less than 0.25CT/4mm approx.) and, therefore, do not come with certifications. However, our lab-grown diamonds are sourced via the Responsible Jewellery Council and SCS Global-certified manufacturers.
