Who we are and how to contact us
Goldie Paris Jewellery is operated by GOLDIE PARIS PTY LTD (ACN 674 920 784). This notice describes personal information used through goldieparis.com, including shopping, customer support, newsletters and event registration. For privacy questions, access, correction or deletion requests, contact contact@goldieparis.com. For orders and returns, contact orders@goldieparis.com.
Information, sources and purposes
- Shopping and orders: information you provide such as your name, email, delivery and billing details, selected products and correspondence, together with payment and transaction information received through checkout and payment providers. This is used to process payments, fulfil orders, arrange delivery and returns, provide support and detect fraud. Payment details are handled through the checkout and its payment providers; please do not send card details by email or chat.
- Support: the messages and any images or other information you choose to send by email, contact form, chat or social media, together with relevant order information. This is used to respond to your request. Only send information needed for your enquiry and images you have permission to share.
- Newsletters and stock alerts: contact details and the preferences you submit, used to send the communications you request. Newsletter subscription is separate from placing an order or registering for an event. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using their unsubscribe link.
- Vente privée registration: the email address you submit is saved to a Shopify customer record with an event guest-list tag. Registering does not change your existing marketing consent. The registration service also processes request information, including IP address and a hashed email identifier, to limit abuse.
- Use of the shop: browser, device, IP address, cookie identifiers, pages viewed, referral information and interactions are collected through the storefront and integrated services for operation, security, measurement and advertising. Browser storage is also used for shopping preferences such as selected product variants.
Services and recipients
Shopify hosts our storefront and processes shopping and customer information. Payment providers, delivery providers and support services receive the information needed for their roles. Our storefront includes Klaviyo for newsletter and marketing functions, Channel.io for chat, Stoq/Restock Rocket for stock alerts, Google Analytics and Merchant Center, Meta, Microsoft Clarity and ProfitPeak for measurement or advertising functions. Cloudflare supports the event registration service. Depending on the feature you use and applicable privacy choices, these services can receive contact, order, device and interaction information. A social-media service also receives information when you contact us through it.
We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests or to protect legal rights. These disclosures do not give recipients permission to use your information without an applicable legal basis. Shopify's own processing is described in Shopify's privacy policy.
Cookies and your choices
The shop uses essential storage for functions such as shopping and security, and includes analytics and advertising technologies. Use the storefront's privacy controls when displayed to make your choices. You can also control cookies through your browser; disabling essential storage can affect the cart and other features. Unsubscribing from email does not itself change browser cookie choices. Some advertising disclosures may be treated as a sale or sharing under applicable privacy laws; you may contact us to exercise applicable opt-out rights. This notice does not treat simply browsing the shop as consent to optional tracking.
Legal grounds and international processing
Where the GDPR or similar rules apply, order processing relies on steps requested before a purchase and performance of the purchase contract; required records rely on legal obligations; support, security and fraud prevention rely on legitimate interests where those interests are not overridden by your rights. Consent is the basis where required for marketing and optional tracking. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Our service providers operate internationally, so processing may occur outside your country. Applicable transfer requirements still apply. Contact us for information about the recipients, destinations and safeguards relevant to your information.
Retention and your rights
Retention depends on the purpose, including fulfilment, support, event administration, legal recordkeeping and resolving claims. Deletion is not necessarily immediate or absolute: records may need to be retained for a legal obligation or a claim. Contact us for information about retention of your records or to request deletion. We do not promise automatic deletion of event registration when the event ends.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete information, obtain a portable copy, restrict processing, object to processing (including direct marketing), withdraw consent, or opt out of sale or sharing. Send requests to contact@goldieparis.com. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity or an authorised agent's authority. Applicable legal response periods and exceptions apply, and exercising a legal right does not remove your other consumer rights.
You may raise a privacy complaint with us and with the relevant supervisory authority, such as the OAIC in Australia or your local European data protection authority where applicable. This does not require you to give up another available remedy.
Changes
We may update this notice as our services change. The date above identifies this version. An update does not retrospectively create consent or remove rights that apply to information already collected.
